How we are funded

Funding for our Trust, as with other Multi Academy Trusts, is provided by central government, through the Education Funding and Skills Agency, according to a formal funding agreement. The Trust follows the Agency's guidance, including its Financial Handbook, and works closely with central government and the local education authority but is not controlled by either.

The finances of the Trust are overseen by the Finance, Premises and Risk Committee which is informed by regular reports from the Trust's Finance Director, termly internal audits conducted by an external auditor and the annual audit and production of the financial statements.
